Create a Savings Story – Win $1,000

America Saves Week – February 27-March 4 –  is an annual celebration to promote savings. This year, you can get some great savings tips and also enter the #ImSavingFor contest.

The winner gets $1,000, and it’s easy to enter. Just share a short video or photo of your savings story at americasavesweek.org/imsavingfor. One winner is randomly chosen from entries posted February 1-April 7, 2017.*

To create a short video, feature a savings story by answering at least one of these questions:

• What are you saving for?

• What is your savings story and how can it help others?

• What is your favorite savings tip or trick?

Or create a picture illustrating your savings goal, following these tips:

Keep it simple. Highlight your savings goal, perhaps a new car or home.

Get creative. Use video or photo-editing tools to put yourself in the scene with a lofty goal (think on top of Mount Rushmore or the edge of the Grand Canyon.)

Add the unique. Use an app to add a caption or some character to your submission.

Enter Once, Get a Bonus!
You can only enter the savings contest once. But you can get three extra entries by completing the America Saves pledge and a simple savings plan. After submitting your contest entry, look for an email with these bonus opportunities.
