It Was a Good September
Last month was a good one for the stock market–the best September since 1939.
Usually, September is the stock market’s worst month. Yet, September 2010 was the third best month in the last 10 years. While the economy might still appear shaky, stocks will likely hold their own in the fourth quarter as well, considering it’s a mid-term election year.
To stay on top of how your stock investments are doing, keep an eye on the upcoming key economic indicators–housing, retail sales, unemployment, factory orders, etc.
