College Kids Worried About Money?

We all worry about money. Some of us worry more than others.

What about college students?  They worry a lot about money.  In polling a group of about 1000  incoming college freshmen before classes started, I asked them that exact question: “Do you worry about having enough money?”

Here are the results…

A majority–46%–said, “Yes, money stresses me out.”

Another 39% said, “sometimes I worry, but money doesn’t stress me out.

Only 15% said, “No, I don’t worry about money.”
