Did you know nearly everyone 15 and older (96%) does some leisure activity in a typical day, such as watching television, socializing, or exercising?  On average, males spent more time in these activities (5.7 hours) compared to females.  (5 hours).

During an average day, 20% of men do housework (cleaning or laundry) compared to 52% of women.  When it comes to food prep and cleanup activities, 37% of men participate, compared to 64% of women, according to statistics rom the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, June, 2008.
