I recently wrote about entrepreneurs getting started–more than half the companies on the 2008 Fortune 500 list began during a recession or bear market. So, it’s no surprise this summer may present some opportunities, even for young entrepreneurs.
Enter the classic lemonade stand.
I passed one in my neighborhood a couple of days ago. Two young entrepreneurs were making a sale to a bicyclist. Great customer service, good salesmanship, fresh products. And most of all, these kids were having fun. I’m guessing they learned something about money too.
